Our latest renovation project involved pairing a vintage white enamel shade with a new black downrod and ceiling canopy. To ensure it was safe, the fixture was rewired, and the original socket underwent a thorough inspection/test and was found to be in excellent condition. We made the conscious decision not to remove the paint overspray on the enamel shade as it adds character and reveals a glimpse into its past.
