J Knox Designs was established in 2013 in a shop adjacent to our home. After many unsuccessful shopping trips to find unique lighting to complement our recently renovated home, John, a licensed electrician, took matters into his own hands and crafted the fixtures himself. We designed and constructed the light fixtures that we envisioned, quickly developing a passion for the entire creative process. With the support of family and friends, we began selling our fixtures online.
