Vintage Brass Coal Scuttle Bucket

This vintage brass coal scuttle, crafted by WOCO Hong Kong, brings timeless charm and character to any space. Perfect as a statement piece by the hearth, it can also be repurposed as a stylish planter, umbrella stand, or storage vessel.

We left the inside portion alone other than a good cleaning and a wax to preserve the amazing original patina. The exterior had been lacquered and was not very attractive, so we carefully sandblasted it, applied a deep brown patina, and sealed it with wax. The finish will continue to naturally evolve and darken with age, adding even more character over time.
