The Birch B1 ceramic bookshelf lamp is hand-built in our Fredericksburg, Texas studio. The lamp is slab built using stoneware clay and high-fired for durability. The lamp is then hand-dipped in Birch glaze. Birch is a creamy tan glaze with brown undertones. The solid brass buttons not only serve as accent pieces, the middle button also serves as an easy on/off touch switch. We designed the linen cream lamp shade which is handmade in Alabama. Each piece is full of handmade character and no two pieces are exactly the same.
