About Us - J Knox Designs
How We Started
Lighting was one of the most important elements we considered for our newly renovated home as lighting plays an integral role in the design of a space. Our search for unique lighting was futile, this inspired John, an experienced licensed electrician, to handcraft our fixtures.
Encouraged by family and friends, we founded J Knox Designs in 2013. After outgrowing our home workshop, we moved our manufacturing studio to Santa Fe, Texas, where all of our fixtures are meticulously handmade to order.

We offer a range of fixtures from modern to contemporary designs that will elevate and illuminate your space. With an obsession for attention to detail, all of our parts are individually finished by hand. We collaborate with skilled local artisans to produce timeless, superior quality light fixtures that can be enjoyed for generations.
